Lapland ART - Levi, September 2007

Sirpa has been painting in Lapland since March this year. This body of work is based on the Sirpa’s experiences in Lapland over the past few years and will be on display at Hotel Hullu Poro in September. There will be paintings of muscular men running the autumn marathon as well as scenes of big bottom ladies doing their Nordic walking exercise and other humoristic scenes.
This exhibition is a starting point for Sirpa’s work in Lapland. She and her New Zealand husband Paul Palmer and their two children Zack , 8 and Zara, 6, have settled in Levi to live and work. Paul is a photographer and specializes in 360 panorama photography and WEB Development.
